Motorcycle Trip
Kyle leaves for a two week vacation starting Friday the 13th. He’ll be traveling to Montana with his dad and brother on motorcycles. He’ll be returning to preach June 29th. While he’s away, please send any prayer requests to Cindi at office@frcportage.org. And if any issues or needs arise, please contact Pastor Steve or Jeff Everts (Vice President of Consistory). Additionally, some of the communications that are normally sent will be paused (like the Weekly and the sermon feed in church center).
Basics: Joining and Serving
Remember to sign up for the July 6th class Basics: Joining for more information about First Reformed and what it looks like to be a member. The class will be right after church and lunch will be provided. And taking the class is NOT a commitment to join but will prepare you if you’d like to take that step.
Also, we have 20 people signed up for Basics: Serving. There are currently two groups, one meeting Thursday nights led by Chris VanDenOever and one meeting after service on Sundays led by Kyle and Brian. Schedules and start dates will be out soon.

Pastor Steve and Beth Johnson are celebrating 50 years together this Friday. We are so glad to have them as part of our church family and pray that God will give them 50 more! Though that would make Steve around 125 years old, so let’s shoot for 25!!
