Happy Spring Break!
The annual week off to emotionally recover from winter is coming up for most high school students this next week. For those traveling, be safe and have fun! For those staying close to home, may the time be restful. And for those who don’t get a “spring break”, we are sorry. Kyle, Nikki and the girls will be one of those families traveling to FL. Please pray for safe travels (especially tonight as they get started in some potential weather). If a need arises between now and Easter, please contact Pastor Steve or a Consistory member.
Easter Happenings
Palm Sunday is this Sunday and we will be celebrating both the Triumphal Entry and Communion. Then, as we approach the weekend of Easter, remember the Pancake Breakfast on Saturday (4/4/26 at 8:30 AM), followed by an easter egg hunt. More information and sign up can be found here. And don’t forget, this is a great event to invite a friend or family to. If you’re able to volunteer for the event, please contact Deb Polderman or Marcia VanDenOever.
Tidbits
- Don’t forget to sign up for Co-Ed softball! Find the Group in Church Center or see Hayden.
- April “First, Pray” booklets will be available this Sunday, passed out with bulletins or available at the welcome center.
- An “organ worship Sunday” is coming towards the end of April! Ben will lead us in hymns on an instrument we haven’t heard in awhile. We hope it’s both a reminder of the many ways we have to praise God as well as a reminder of First Reformed’s history.
- Adult Sunday School (11:00AM) will be starting a new study on the person of Jesus soon. They will also take Easter Sunday off.
