Last Adult Sunday School This Week
The 11:00 AM Sunday morning adult school class will have its last meeting this week. The group will have a little party and take the opportunity to share what people have learned this past year, talk about summer study goals, and share suggestions for next year. Everyone is welcome, even if you weren’t a regular to the class!
Sermon Correction for May 10, 2026
Occasionally in my sermons, I say something incorrect and this past week was one of those times. Some observant Bible readers noticed that I said the woman who annointed Jesus was anonymous, however, John’s gospel specifies that it was Mary, the sister of Lazarus (see John 11:1-2 and 12:1-3). Thank you for studying the word closely and pointing out obvious errors so we can all have a more accurate knowledge of the scriptures.
Communion this Sunday, May 17
We will observe Communion this Sunday (and our scripture happens to be of the Last Supper!). We will be doing a walk up service this time, so people who are able will be invited to come forward and receive the elements. Everyone is asked to come forward in the center aisle and return to their pew in the outside aisles. If you are unable to come forward, we will have Elders roaming to provide for those individuals.
