Tigers Game Registrations
We are excited to have some staff and friends of local ministries and churches joining us in Detroit on the 24th! We’ve invited Urban Alliance and Haven Reformed. This means lots of cool people to chat with as well as the need to lock in your seat by reserving ASAP. Seats are on a first come first serve basis, so if you haven’t registered, please do. Remember, you can register online through Church Center (which allows credit card payments) or by emailing Kyle or the office. Payment does NOT need to be made at the time of registration.

Alliance of Reformed Churches Annual Meeting
Kyle will be away this upcoming week in Holland, MI, for the ARC annual conference. It’s a time to hear about what is happening across the denomination, get refreshed in the vision of the partnership and network with other leaders. Please contact Steve with any pastoral needs.
SBS and Kindness Acts Camp
Remember the second ‘S’ of SBS? SERVE somewhere! If you want to show that you’re willing to embrace this part of our mission, volunteer at KA Camp this next week and find out how serving others honors Jesus. This camp is an opportunity to reach kids with the love of Jesus in a fun and relational way. When you volunteer at KA Camp, simple activities like swimming, canoeing, and painting turn into an opportunity to change a child’s life forever. Scared? That’s ok! Sign up anyway. Fight! Freewill Offering on August 30
Kim Qualls (Hoeksema) will be presenting about Fight Ministries on Sunday morning, August 30. Fight Ministries is an organization based in Plainwell, MI, running a rehabilitation facility for trafficked girls in the Dominican Republic. They are the only organization they know of with an official partnership with the government’s social services department. We are asking that those moved by the presentation be ready to bless the ministry with a freewill offering that will be taken at the end of the service in addition to normal offering. A plate will be passed but there will also be a giving option in Church Center.
The Mission and Outreach team is also considering the possibility of further partnership with Fight, who can also provide us with mission trip opportunities, internships, and even staff positions for those looking to serve in an international, multi-lingual context.
