Kidz KamP is cancelled for tonight
Due to the weather threat (icy conditions and possible snow accumulation), KidZ KamP is cancelled for tonight (2/12/25). Our apologies for the date typo in the Church Center announcement sent earlier.
An empty pantry full of thanks
The Mission and Outreach Team did the final clean out the Bonus Bucks Pantry today. The resources that were still good were allocated to other ministries. Thank you to M&O and any other individuals that worked many hours acquiring goods, interacting with recipients, and delivering needed items to other organizations throughout Kalamazoo. Though the pantry’s effectiveness had waned recently, adding to the decision to discontinue, the work that was done and especially the spirit of love and service it was done in will continue to have effect. M&O will continue to put energy into the handful of other missions we serve, and we now have another meeting room, which will likely come in handy with our growing number of attenders!
Randy Bremmer of Michigan Catalyst Network met with Consistory
Randy is the Shepherding Leader for MCN and joined Consistory last night to share about MCN’s purpose, structure and resources. It was a good reminder of our partnership with other churches in our area under the Alliance and the resources they provide to help us in our work as a local congregation. It was agreed that there is much hope and anticipation for what is happening in the Alliance, MCN and our region. The website for the Michigan Catalyst Network is here.
