Basics: Following starts this week! Location update…
We are thrilled with the response to Basics: Following with around 30 official signups and even more informal commitments to attend! Thank you for making this a priority and for supporting Brian’s first class here at First. We are praying that God will speak to you and make your walk with him more practical and fulfilling.

- If you haven’t signed up officially, please visit the Groups tab (under More) in Church Center or go here: https://frcportage.churchcenter.com/groups/basics-classes/basics-class-following
- Location Update: due to the numbers, the class will meet in the Fellowship Hall starting promptly at 11:00 AM.
- Please bring your Bible and something to write with (and a journal if you’d like).
For those not attending the class, please grab your coffee and cookies and then continue your fellowship time upstairs after 10:55! Thanks for your consideration in trying to minimize distractions and serve those attending.
Wayne Taylor Memorial Service
We are honored to host Hayden’s grandpa’s Memorial Service on Monday 2/10 at 11:00 AM (visitation at 10:00 AM, Luncheon following at 12:30 PM). Thank you as always to our hardworking Church Life team providing the luncheon and our staff and volunteers for serving the family. Wayne was committed follower of Christ and very influential in Hayden’s life and many others in the Kalamazoo area and beyond. Hayden has invited the student ministry to the service to hear about Wayne’s life and the invite is extended to the church family. As always, please give preference for seating to outside guests if numbers are on the high side.

Student Ministry times for Super Bowl Sunday
With the big game this Sunday night, Hayden has adjusted YG times, so people can enjoy some friend and family fellowship while watching the Swifties deal with losing:
Middle School YG: 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM
High School YG: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
