Speed Record Set
A huge thank you to everyone who came out last night to help with Bethlehem Journey set move in! We had around 30 people and all of the materials were put inside in about 30 minutes! That has to be a record. And then people stuck around and started on scene setup, helping us get ahead of schedule. A sincere thank you for being generous with your time.
If you were busy last night or are hungry for more, set up continues tonight and tomorrow night. Contact Pam Reeves for details on exact times and needs.
For those in the cast, don’t forget to be memorizing those lines!
Annual Congregational Meeting
Monday night, December 1 at 6:00 PM is our annual meeting where we vote on the slate of new elders and deacons put forward, review and vote on next year’s budget and handle any business details related to the church as a whole. Only members may vote, but everyone is welcome. The agenda and a copy of the proposed budget will be in mailboxes this Sunday.
Praying for a Friend
How are you doing missionally? By that we mean, is there anyone God has put on your heart who needs Jesus and what are you doing about it? This could be a neighbor, friend, coworker, or even a family member. This is a nudge to keep praying for them and for yourself to be kind, loving and bold when the Holy Spirit opens the door to a conversation or invitation. And an invitation to church or a church event is a great first step. If there are other ways that First could help you reach your friends and loved ones, please let us know.
