Thanksgiving Service
On November 23rd, the Sunday before Thanksgiving, we will have our annual “Thanksgiving” service. Our service looks a little different on this day as we take extra time to open up the mic to the congregation to praise God by sharing publicly things they are thankful for from the past year. Feel free to spend some time in advance thinking about or writing down things you could say. Even if you choose not to share, it’s good for your own spirit and worship.
Special Services on Church Center
In addition to our regular audio and video sermons on Church Center, you can now access special services (like Larry Hoeksema’s memorial service from Monday), when they are recorded and it’s ok to share. To access these, open Church Center on your phone or the web, click the more button in the bottom right-hand corner, then click “Sermons: Special Services”. Note, if you don’t see that option, you may have to close and reopen your app.
Bethlehem Journey Hands
“Many hands make light work” they say. So let’s make light work of the set distribution on Tuesday, November 11. Starting around 6:30 PM, we will have equipment and trailers here to load up the sets from the barn to the carport. Then we work like ants grabbing pieces and moving them down into the Fellowship Hall. Additionally, some items are retrieved from various store rooms and also set into place. With eager workers, it takes maybe two hours on the long side. Thanks in advance helping us with this big first step!
