Men’s Hike – October 23-24
Once again we are headed into the colorful wilderness of the Jordan River Valley in the top of the mitten. This is a two day hike, about18 miles total with a campout between the two days. We leave early Friday morning and return by early evening Saturday night. The cost is simply your own food plus a small share of the gas. NOT INTO LONG WALKS IN THE WOODS? Bethlehem Journey Cast Sign-ups
It’s time to sign up for another year of acting like we are two-thousand years old! Please sign up for the cast of Bethlehem Journey. We always try to give preference for those who have played parts in the past but you’re always welcome to explore a different part. Our goal is to have shared parts for a majority of the roles, which means with 50 parts, lots of people are needed! Additionally, we will be opening up the cast to a few partner churches this year, so signing up helps us communicate how other churches can best help us.

Lastly, I want to remind us of the opportunity Bethlehem Journey is for outreach: twice this week, I (Kyle) was introduced to people for the first time and shared that I was the pastor at First Reformed. Both times, they said, “Oh, you guys do that big Christmas thing, right?” Please consider being a part of this event, which is an important part of our strategy for helping Christ be known to our community.
